• October 25, 2007: Bortell welcomes new Business Applications Consultant.  Bortell has appointed Emily Tan as Business Applications consultant in the Melbourne office to strenghten the local technical team.  Emily has several years of experience in the IT industry and specifically with Microsoft Dynamics GP.  In this role, Emily will be involved in new systems implementations and will work closely with the technical team to provide support to current clients.

• August 20, 2007: Bortell has been nominated for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner of the Year Award.

Bortell MapPoint Integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a web based scheduling and customer service management solution that utilises an entire portfolio of the Microsoft product stack.

Bortell Advanced Service Scheduling solution allows the business to utilise its workforce more efficiently by providing real time and precise scheduling capabilities. The system maximises call centre user productivity, impartiality and confidence by automatically calculating (based on user defined business rules) and determining the best person to send on a particular job at a particular location and point in time. Organisation processes are automated to minimise human errors in scheduling.

• July 20, 2007: Bortell is glad to welcome Bourse Data as a new Dynamics GP client.

Bourse Data has grown since inception in 1992 to become Australia's most trusted, leading independent supplier of financial market data, tools and services for private and professional investors and traders.  Bourse Data has recently merged with two other companies that provide financial advisory services, online trading solutions and analysis tools for traders – namely Cube Financial Group and MDS News.

 

Currently Bourse Data is using Great Plains V 6.0 software for financials and custom developed software for billing which is interfaced to the Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting back-end.  The other two companies (Cube and MDS) are currently using QuickBooks.

Bortell will implement Dynamics GP 10.0 to its new entities to be able to efficiently produce consolidated management reports.

• June 30, 2007: Bortell signs two Dynamics GP clients: Fresh Generation and Blue Freeway...

Fresh Generation is Australian leading provedore of fruit and vegetables supplying Melbourne’s premiere restaurants for the past 10 years.  The company was using a customised in house accounting system.

The implementation of Dynamics GP 10.0 will significantly improve its financial and distribution functions.  Blue Freeway is a group of digital and interactive Marketing and communications companies (comprising ten companies in current portfolio) that provide a full range of online and mobile communications services. The group has over 200 employees with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.  Blue Freeway currently runs MYOB and various other systems in the portfolio companies. Blue Freeway will also be implementing Dynamics CRM internally.


May 11, 2007:  Bortell is pleased to announce one new GP client:  Cook's Construction.  Cook's Construction Pty Ltd is Australia's largest privately owned earthmoving and mining contracting company.  Bortell will provide them with ongoing support and maintenance.

The implementation of Fieldpoint Alert and Dynamics GP will provide the company with an operational and management support tool that will monitor and track the company service levels.

• June 30, 2006: Bortell announces Gizmo as a new Microsoft Dynamics GP and CRM customer. Gizmo is a start up IT Services Company based in Sydney.
